Cancelled - RSA York: Innovation in Democracy

In recent months, York has seen a raft of deliberative democratic experiments; from the Extinction Rebellion People’s Assembly held in a packed York Explore, to the City of York Council actively exploring different ways of creativity involving citizens in shaping the future of the city.

Taking a wide-angle lens on the state of the UK’s democracy, the RSA’s initiatives on Citizen Assemblies, as well as considering local interventions, we’ll open up a discussion followed by networking giving you a chance to catch up a major strand of the RSA’s current work and meet other local people and RSA Fellows with a wide range of interests.
