How to think long-term in a short-term world.

Join us for an evening of conversation with leading philosopher Roman Krznaric.

His new book The Good Ancestor argues that the greatest challenge we face is not climate change, extreme inequality or terrorism: it is our inability to think long term.

With examples from every corner of the world and thinkers both past a present who are forging new ways of creating the future, Roman offers seven practical, visionary ways we can make positive changes. By reframing our perspective we can ensure that we have a tangible impact on the world that future generations will inherit.

His talk will be followed by a question and answer session.

This is part of a series of events created in partnership with Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking, who will be running the event. Please note, there is no obligation to donate when booking a ticket through the website. Simply click 'Donate Later.'
