Join us to enjoy an insightful face-to-face discussion with Edinburgh Fellows, considering aspects of activities led by Geographic and Thematic Network, and culture and heritage issues in particular.

Light Refreshments will be served.

Our venue, St Vincent’s Chapel, is at the foot of Howe Street, itself the continuation northwards of Frederick Street. The area is well served by Lothian Buses;

- Services 23 and 27 to Dundas Street and proceed west along Cumberland Street

- Service 36 stopping in Hamilton Place and proceed up Clarence Street

- Buses 24, 29 and 42 which stop in Howe Street.

St Vincent’s falls within Parking Zone 5A: parking with pay spaces up to 17:30 and after 17:30 spaces as available in all nearby streets within Zone 5A.

Geographic Networks of RSA Fellows have included Edinburgh, Stirling, Borders, Glasgow, Aberdeen and St. Andrews.

Thematic Networks have included Health and Wellbeing and currently include MCICH and R+EINS, being, respectively Media, Creative Industries, Culture and Heritage and the Rural and Environmental Issues Network Scotland. The latter, for example, recently worked with SOSE to deliver various “round tables” re RLUPs, whilst MCICH designed and delivered, again for SOSE, five meetings relative to City of Culture, in all instances creating multi-disciplinary discussions of substance.

The diversity of RSA fellowship is such that there could be other thematic Networks to be built, allowing active participation by Fellows.

Taking part in RSA in-person events

To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending. This is for capacity purposes. We request that all attendees evaluate their own health and that of those they’re in close contact with. We encourage all attendees that are ill or showing symptoms of illness to stay home and to cancel your Eventbrite ticket if you are no longer able to join the event.

Given the ever-changing nature of the pandemic, please always check your latest national Government guidance in addition to following our baseline guidance enclosed here. If guidelines do change, the event may be cancelled at short notice.

If you have any questions, or to let us know of any access requirements or reasonable adjustments you require, please email: networks@rsa.org.uk.
