Brighton Fellows meetup - RSA

Brighton Fellows meetup

Fellowship events

 -  | BST British Summer Time

Brighton WERKS Central Café, Brighton, BN1 1AL

  • People & place
  • Community engagement
  • Social innovation

Many of the RSA’s greatest achievements began when socially-minded people got together and began talking about the changes they want to see in their community. So we are creating space for you to spark that conversation, connect with others, and plan for change!

The format will be very open, focused around informal networking – giving you the chance to reconnect with familiar faces in the Fellowship community, or welcome new ones.

If you would like to take the floor for a ‘shout-out’ to tell Fellows about a project you’re involved in, let us know when you sign up, and we’ll hold space for this at the beginning of the evening. Beyond that, there won’t be any presentation or agenda.

This Fellow-led event is free to attend, and open to friends or colleagues. It’ll be a great opportunity to find out more about the RSA and meet local Fellows; so please if anyone you know is interested, invite them along.

This meetup will be held at our Fellows Hub at the Brighton WERKS Sustainable On-Site Café, where drinks and nibbles will be served.

Please book to let us know that you’re planning to join by using the link above.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk. Please also let us know any dietary requirements or severe allergies.

Taking part in RSA in-person events

We've been looking forward to finally being able to meet together in person, but of course recognise it is important for us to stay cautious and make the environment safe for everyone.

We aim to have assurances from all venues that they will have basic Covid-safety processes in place.

We’re asking all attendees of events to be respectful of personal space, to be mindful of others’ preferences in regard to social distancing and to respect those that are wearing face coverings.

To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending. This is for capacity purposes.

We request that all attendees evaluate their own health and that of those they’re in close contact with. We encourage all attendees that are sick or showing symptoms of illness to stay home and to cancel your Eventbrite ticket if you are no longer able to join the event.

Given the ever-changing nature of the pandemic, please always check your latest national Government guidance in addition to following our baseline guidance enclosed here. If guidelines do change, the event may be cancelled at short notice.

If you have any questions, or to let us know of any access requirements or reasonable adjustments you require, please email: networks@rsa.org.uk
