Please join us for a wide-ranging discussion about the new RSA mission document Design for Life.
This event is a great opportunity for RSA Fellows and guests to discuss the RSA's recently published Design for Life mission document, which you can find more details on here. RSA Fellows Gareth Baird and Margaret Simpson will open the event offering their perspectives, after which others will be invited to join the discussion and share their thoughts.
Gareth Baird chairs the Fallago Environment Fund and the Moredun Foundation. He has previously been a Commissioner for the Crown Estate and also some years ago chaired the Scottish Enterprise South of Scotland Advisory Committee. He has also served as a Governor or chairman on various school boards.
Margaret Simpson MBE is the Chief Executive of the Scottish Borders Social Enterprise Chamber CIC.
Refreshments will be served during the event, so we ask that attendees inform us of any dietary requirements as soon as possible.
The event will be held at The Trinity Centre, which is a fully accessible building with a bus stop outside that is well served by local transport. The railway station at Tweedbank is a 15-20 minute walk away, and there is parking in adjacent streets.
Taking part in RSA in-person events
To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending. This is for capacity purposes. We request that all attendees evaluate their own health and that of those they’re in close contact with. We encourage all attendees that are ill or showing symptoms of illness to stay home and to cancel your Eventbrite ticket if you are no longer able to join the event.
