Asmaa Alfadala
Director of Research, World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE)
Dr Asmaa Alfadala is the Director of Research at the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) and Assistant Professor of Educational Sciences at College of Education, Qatar University. She has eighteen years of professional experience in Education. She was an Associate Policy Analyst at the RAND-Qatar Policy Institute and a Research Assistant at the Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF). Previously, Dr Alfadala was Head of the Science Department and Professional Development Coordinator at a new independent school.
Dr Alfadala is widely interested in education but her main research areas are related to leadership for learning, school improvement and educational reform. She is a member of the Comparative International Educational Society ,the American Educational Research Association and the British Educational Research Association, and has participated in multiple national and international conferences.
