Barry Smith

Barry C Smith is a professor of philosophy and director of the Institute of Philosophy. He is the founder of the Centre for the Study of the Senses, which pioneers collaborative research between philosophers, psychologists and neuroscientists. Since 2012 Barry has been the AHRC Leadership Fellow for the Science in Culture theme. He has published on self-knowledge, knowledge of language, and the chemical senses.
