Dr Philip Roscoe is a reader in management at the School of Management, University of St Andrews, having previously worked as a financial journalist and entrepreneur. He was one of the 10 winners of the inaugural BBC Radio Three 'New Generation Thinkers' scheme, a competition to discover the 'public intellectuals of the future', and is a regular contributor to Night Waves. He is the author of I Spend, Therefore I Am (Penguin Portfolio, 2014)
