RSA Fellows are invited to join ODI Leeds and Leeds City Council at #AirHack: a 2-day hackathon-style event to tackle air quality.
Taking place over Friday 24 and Saturday 25 Feb.
Anyone and everyone interested in air quality are invited to attend; data wranglers, programmers, makers, storytellers, community organisations, policy makers, etc., to get stuck in and have fun whilst working on air quality solutions. You don't need to be a computer wizard to take part, you can get as much done with post-its and pens as you can with code.
#AirHack: Find out more and register.
This is part of a whirlwind of events as part of ODI Leeds’ work with Defra, to release and create value from the thousands of data sets already released through the 'Defra family'.
On Thursday 30 March, ODI Leeds will also be facilitating a 1-day innovation workshop with Defra and invite anyone with a Defra-data-powered project to come along and share what you've been up to.
It could be something developed at #AirHack or perhaps you've been working on it for a while and want to ask Defra for more data. Whatever your interest, pop along! It's a great opportunity to meet with other people using Defra data, and a chance to push Defra for more data or for more updates.
If you have any questions about either event, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
