Art for Cure is a unique arts charity, raising significant funds for leading-edge breast cancer research and support programmes through its exhibitions and events.

Between 3-6 October 2019, Art for Cure will be hosting She London at the Bankside Gallery.

She London will bring together 25 female creatives, including both the great women artists and emerging talents. She London will be an exhibition of paintings, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery, celebrating the female form and experience in all its different ways.

Working in partnership with Breast Cancer Now means that the commissions from all sales of work exhibited at She London will go directly towards fund innovative breast cancer research. Renowned artists such as Maggi Hambling, Henrietta Dubrey, Carol Peace, Claudia Legge and Alexandra Coe will show recent original work. They come together with vibrant new talents such as Laura Pannock, Joy BC, Edith Dormandy and Jelly Green for this unique show.

Art for Cure is without precedent in commissioning and selling original artworks from established and emerging talents solely in aid of breast cancer research and support. Having already raised £700k since its foundation five years ago, it has rapidly become a major fundraising force. The charity was founded by Belinda Gray FRSA after she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 47.

Art for Cure will host the free-to-enter show for four days between 3-6 October 2019. More information about She London and Belinda Gray can be found via the Art for Cure website and via MyRSA.

  • This is a good idea! when you say free to enter, how does that sit with tickets for £25? its not clear.
