On November 22nd Project Management Institute North East will return to The Stadium of Light for its end of year conference once again. This is an ever growing event and holds close to its heart the values of affordability and inclusivity whilst promoting social project management through the institute’s relationship with Enactus UK.

This year opening the evening will be the Northumbria University Enactus team, this year’s Enactus rookie champions. The Enactus programme delivers socially sustainable change through the entrepreneurial action of the student led teams in the programme throughout the univerisities of the UK. As the RSA is a strategic partner this will give an opportunity to see the type of change being delivered in communities at home and abroad by the teams involved.

Following on, Stephen Carver will talk about leadership and Dr David Hancock will discuss risk management, both important in the type of social project management in the Enactus programme where the teams seek to make a quick impact for their beneficiaries.

This event will examine historical leadership styles, risk leadership and enabling positive change. Join them to find out more about Northumbria Enactus and the challenges the team have set themselves in order to make a difference to those who need it the most.

This is a not for profit event and proceeds from ticket sales will be used to provide refreshments and cover other costs.
