As part of the highly successful 90-year-old RSA Student Design Awards programme, we are pleased to announce that the RSA-US is celebrating their third competition this year.

The 2015 RSA-US Student Design Awards Reception, Keynote Address by Richard Clarke, Global Design Vice-President of Nike, and Final Awards Presentation will take place on the evening of 25 April at The Cooper Union for Advancement of Science and Art in New York City.

Join the RSA fellowship in the United States and around the globe by visiting  the USA SDA website or bridgeinnovate.com and experience the live streaming of the event from 4 pm to 8pm Eastern Time. Additionally, the event is free and open to the public.

140 undergraduate university students from across the United States were represented in 65 project submissions within the 6 brief categories of architecture, industrial design, fashion/textile, communications, product design, and interiors.  From these preliminary submissions, 26 student projects have been selected for the final Student Design Awards interviews on April 25.

The 2015 Judging Panel includes RSA-US SDAs Co-Founders Seren Paige-Bailey and David Turner, together with other top designers from across the country: Eoin Billings, Duncan Jackson, Shashi Kaan, Marc Shillum, Agnes Bourne, Mark Breeze, Paulo Faria, Steve Greenberg, Jenny Whitener, Sophia Kassam,  Tim Lavalley, Rich Manuck, Timo Rissanen, Susan Sheffield, Rick Valicenti,  Matthew Waldman, Marci Zaroff.dire

Sevra Davis, Manager of the RSA Student Design Awards and Natalie Nicholles, Director of RSA Global will also be attending from London.
