With the support of the RSA and 155 Kickstarter backers, a not for profit cafe and workspace opened in Salford in August 2015. Six months into the project, Home Of Honest Coffee became a sustainable business and is already "home" to over 50 community groups, a host of entrepreneurs, local businesses and creative types.

The Home of Honest Coffee team, having successfully raised over £5000 to build the cafe and free co-working space, are now looking to raise enough money to secure the building next door to launch The Gallery: a not for profit community arts and creative space with co-op values.

Mark Ashmore FRSA and the team hope you will join them on their mission to support and celebrate local artists whilst bringing the community of Greater Manchester together.

The vision for The Gallery

Home of Honest Coffee will provide free co-working space, super fast internet and function as The Gallery's kitchen for food and drink. The building next door will be a flexible, creative gallery space; host events for 50-100 people; put on international and local exhibitions; host theatre performances and art happenings; and house a small, permanent co-working office hub with cheap affordable space.

With less than one month to secure the property, they need your help.

Be part of a 10-year plan, join the community and help the grass roots thrive in the face of property development and austerity cuts.

Home of Honest Coffee is based in one of the oldest parts of both Salford and Manchester, the area has a rich history of counter-culture activity and this is something we are keen to preserve , even in the face of urban living development and the Lego brick gated communities that keep appearing.
