The launch of the Proverse Poetry Prize 2018 anthology, “Mingled Voices 3” on 25 April 2019. Some of those pictured had poems chosen for the anthology; they include entrants from Australia, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Macau, Spain, South Africa, the UK and the USA. The Prize Founders are also in the image.

The International Proverse Prizes for writing submitted and previously unpublished in English (may be in translation) are open for entry until June 30th.

Founded by RSA Life Fellow Dr Verner Bickley MBE and his wife, Dr Gillian Bickley FRSA, the Proverse Prize for single-author book-length fiction, non-fiction, or poetry offers a cash prize and publication. The Proverse Prize is now in its tenth year.

The Proverse Poetry Prize for single poems (this is its fourth edition) also offers cash prizes and publication in the prize anthology.

Full details and entry documents are available from the Proverse website, where up to date information on the two prizes can be found as well as further photographs of prize-related events can be found.

Furthermore, entry is open to all who are at least 18 years old, whatever their place of birth, residence, nationality or citizenship.
