The WSG: Exploring ‘the unfenced road’ of the RSA’s history

The William Shipley Group for RSA History invites Fellows and non-Fellows alike to wander ‘along the unfenced road’ of the RSA’s history through its Bulletin, publications and symposia. It seeks to establish networks of institution and scholars to uncover all aspects of a Society that Sir Henry Cole described as ‘poking its nose into everything’. Membership is open to all at an annual subscription of £5. See the WSG website for an application form and access to a free book on the RSA’s history written by the late Dr David G. C. Allan, RSA Historian, Founder and Honorary President of the William Shipley Group for RSA History.
