Across the United States Fellows collaborate on projects, events and activities to positively affect their local communities. Projects ranged from encouraging university students to apply design thinking to social change through the RSA Student Design Awards, to providing introductory workshops to school-age students on the power of design.

Maria is a textile specialist with twenty years experience of working for both manufacturers and retail companies worldwide. Her interests include artisan/craft traditions and new developments in industrial production.
