FUTURE WORK AWARDS WINNERS 2018/19

Across the globe, start-ups, trade unions and worker cooperatives are using novel technologies to give people new opportunities for good work.

In the UK, our world-beating tech hubs and regional social enterprises are leading the charge for an inclusive and accessible workplace.

Fears about job insecurity, the undermining of worker’s rights and job loss due automation are not unfounded. However, our Future Work Awards winners show that elements of the modern economy often presented as detrimental to the modern worker can be negated, or better still can be used to provide employees with a level of flexibility and training not previously available.

This year’s Future Work Awards are encouraging people to look past the negative headlines to see potential in the workplace of the 21st century
