The house and the place you live in is really important. It can have an impact on your health, how you spend your money, where you go to work, and what you get to do in your free time. With so much going on everyday, we hardly get a chance to think about it.
But what if you did? What do you have to say about what is important to Nechells? What ideas could we recommend to the council, housing associations, local businesses, and others? No one is more of an expert about living in Nechells than the people that actually live there, so register to take part in the Community Assembly today!
What is a community assembly? Community assemblies bring together a group of people that represent the whole community and support them to learn and discuss a topic with each other. Together, they make recommendations about what should happen and how things should change. What do you have to say about what is important to Nechells? What ideas could we recommend to the council, housing associations, local businesses, and others?
Register to join the Nechells Knows Community Assembly today! It will run across 18 hours over seven sessions in August and September 2021. If you take part, you can also receive £270. You don’t need to have done anything like this before to take part – all that is required is a willingness to listen to the information presented, think about what matters to your neighbourhood and share your opinions with those taking part. If you have specific requirements, let us know so we can try and make adjustments to ensure everyone can take part.
