RSA Fellows are invited to volunteer for a board game design project funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering.
The Bristol Initiative Charitable Trust and My Future My Choice are collaborating with engineers to design a board game. This will be a high-quality resource for those working with young people to help them plan for the changing nature of work and the importance of engineers to the future of global and local economies and lifestyles.
Goals of the project
The principle aim is use thematically appropriate game mechanics, text and imagery to communicate to 13+ year olds how:
- Engineers offer benefits to people and the planet
- UN Sustainability Goals offer opportunity to engineers and to business
- Start-up business creates income, jobs and growth
- Changes to future economies will impact on work and society when they leave school
