Kevin Yapp is Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer at Premier Farnell
Kevin joined Premier Farnell in June 2003 as Marketing Director for the European region. In 2007 he was promoted to Chief Innovation Officer responsible for all strategy & innovation in the business, and launching the ‘element14’ community which marked a major move into social media together with the start of globally rebranding the business. In 2010 he was made CMO, then in 2012 strategy was returned to his portfolio.
Prior to joining PF he spent 7 years as European Marketing Director of a computer consumable distributor, again taking the organisation through a full rebranding. Before that Kevin spend a spell on agency side and held a number of classic FMCG product marketing roles in B2C companies. Kevin holds a BSc in Physics from Imperial College, University of London.
