About the accelerator

The Dotforge Impact accelerator programme provides mentorship, workshops and an initial £18,000 of funds for tech startups and small teams creating early stage digital technology working to improve society.

The accelerator has been modelled on the commercial accelerators run by Dotforge in the past and based on the TechStars approach which provides three months intensive support.

Dotforge Impact developed a socially focused 13-week accelerator centred around mentorship, workshops, resources and collaboration. They provide teams with an initial £18,000 funding, a fantastic space to work and the support of a vast network of talented people.

The support doesn't end there. Dotforge and partners of the programme continue to work with the alumni teams on building and growing their companies long after the programme finishes.

The programme runs in partnership with the RSA and Key Fund, the most prolific Community Development Finance Institution in the UK, providing a further dedicated fund of £500,000 second round investment.

Mentors in the form of business, social and technical experts are ready to support and advise throughout each entrepreneurial journey.

The Dotforge programme is split into three stages:

1. Shaping: introducing startups to a variety of mentors that will provide useful advice as they shape their product or service.

2. Building: continual development of the product via feedback from clients.

3. Selling: Dotforge helps participants to begin raising capital and acquire early adopters.

Dotforge are launching a Health and Data accelerator and are looking for ambitious, entrepreneurial teams who are solving problems in the health sector. For more information:
