The RSA's main building is located just behind the Strand in central London, within easy walking distance of underground and railway stations. This is where events from our public events programme take place, and the RSA Fellows' library and bar are housed here.

The RSA House is open Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 8.00pm. Please note the RSA House is closed at weekends, on public holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
Due to a period of redevelopment in line with the 21st Century Enlightenment Coffee House Project, the library and Gerard Bar are closed until the construction is finished and Vaults Restaurant is now permanently closed.
A temporary cafe is situated in the Tavern Room on the Ground Floor with open areas on this floor available for extra seating.
