RSA Woking Meetup: Local Fellows Connecting

Fellowship Event

 -

Fiery Bird, Woking

  • Fellowship

Join us this September to connect with local Fellows and begin a conversation (or many conversations) about how the RSA’s mission “to create the conditions for the enlightened thinking and collaborative action needed to address today's most pressing social challenges” can be better delivered in Woking.

Come along, get to know other local RSA Fellows, and join the discussion.

The event will begin with short talks by Niraj Saraf FRSA, on his work on urban innovation and his ideas for bringing together Fellows in Woking, and Elaine McGinty FRSA, on the challenges she faced in founding the Fiery Bird and bringing her local initiative to life.  We’ll facilitate some activities to get to know each other, then explore what this group might look to do together in the future.

We invite you to bring your ideas and thoughts, including:

  •  What are your concerns about development in Woking?
  • What sorts of projects would you be interested in collaborating on?
  • How can we help develop partnerships in Woking between education, creative industry, the arts community and business which can work towards an enlightened, thriving and supportive local economy that has real social impact?

Refreshments will be available.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.

Location: Fiery Bird, Church St E, Woking GU21 6HJ
