Join us for the final report launch of the RSA Food, Farming and Countryside Commission’s Scotland inquiry: the Scotland Field Guide for the Future.
The afternoon will include talks from inquiry contributors and a convivial discussion about the implications of the report and the necessary future steps for Scotland. It follows the publication of the Commission’s UK-wide final report in July which highlighted actions we need to take in the next ten years, to stop ecosystems collapse, to recover and regenerate nature and to restore people’s health and wellbeing.
The Scotland inquiry has drawn upon the voices from the breadth of the country through a series of roundtable discussions. The findings highlight and focus on the need for regenerative, natural solutions combined with the building of community knowledge and engagement whilst ensuring end solutions are formed collaboratively and with the inclusion of all stakeholder voices.
Speakers include:
Prof. Lorna Dawson, FFCC Scotland Inquiry Lead
Sue Pritchard, FFCC Director
Prof. Julie Fitzpatrick, Chief Executive, Moredun Foundation
Andrew Thin, Chair, Scottish Land Commission
Mat Roberts, Chief Executive, Shetland Amenity Trust
