After Corona: How to Build Back Better to a Wellbeing Economy

Fearing a global recession, world leaders are developing plans to stimulate the economy. But existing policy ideas are built for another time. During this period of crisis, we must abandon the old metrics of economic progress and listen to what people need.

This is a time to ask what is really important to us. What can we live without? What is critical for our wellbeing? This moment of pause has brought increasing clarity to the value of food, health, income security, education, mobility, access to nature, social connection and public services.
