We’re continuing the series of bringing the RSA community of Bath Fellows together online to connect, check in and to hear from different speakers.
Join us on 4 April where our speaker will be Lucy Sweetman. Lucy's provocation will focus on the importance of maintaining a curious disposition and modelling it to our learners in creative practice. Lucy is a Reader in Teaching & Learning and Course Leader for the BA in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University. She has taught at BSU since 2012. Lucy trained as a youth worker in the early 90s and went on to work for both local authority youth services and national charities, delivering and then managing projects with vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. Throughout that time she trained other professional colleagues and wrote extensively for and about the work she was involved in. These experiences took her into freelance life as a consultant and copywriter and, eventually, to Bath Spa where she now resides.
They’ll be an opportunity to ask questions and join in a conversation around education and creativity.
Everyone is welcome, Fellows and non-Fellows. We’d also welcome any newcomers who haven’t previously attended a local event.
Please book your place. In advance of the event, you'll receive an email with a Zoom link needed to join the event.
