How do British people feel about Universal Basic Income?

This short briefing outlines the findings from the RSA’s recent polling on the future of work and welfare in the Covid-19 era.

We find that by almost three-to-one (46% vs 16%), the public would support a local UBI pilot. But many (including UBI supporters) are concerned about funding and how others would spend the money.
