Georgina is a Programmatic Councillor.

George is an innovative leader with over 20 years of eclectic experience spanning the private, public, and charitable sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Collective Leadership at the Cabinet Office, she is dedicated to supporting the UK’s most senior public service leaders to address complex, intractable problems. In this role, George is working to ‘rewire the state’ by building social capital, creating culture change and fostering impactful collaboration across organisational boundaries.

Her career is defined by a passion for creating meaningful partnerships to drive sustainable change, guided by the borrowed wisdom of “saying yes to the weird stuff”. George brings a leadership style grounded in humility, curiosity, and a golden trio of good sense, good judgement, and good humour.

As a Programmatic Councillor for the RSA, George applies her expertise in systems thinking and community development to strengthen the Fellowship’s work, and has previously held volunteer roles with the Dunfermline Citizens AssemblyThe Armitage FoundationSamaritansGirlGuiding UK and as a mentor for The Queen’s Young Leaders.
