The magnificent Benjamin Franklin room works hand in hand with the Great Room above it, providing an ideal catering area or breakout room for conferences and reception space for dinners. The room can also be hired individually for stand-alone events such as receptions, dinners, product launches, large meetings, and filming. Conveniently located on the ground floor, this room is near to the reception and cloakroom facilities.

Did you know?

This room was named the Benjamin Franklin Room in 1967 to mark the Society’s long association with the USA. Franklin was an active member and supported the institution in its early years.

In 1946 Sir Winston Churchill was awarded the Albert Medal in this room – to acknowledge his enormous contribution to progress and positive change in contemporary society.
