The building was completed in 1774 and has many original features designed by renowned architects, the Adam brothers.
The venue is versatile and can be hired exclusively for the day, or room by room. With historic dining rooms, inspiring meeting rooms, a quirky auditorium and the stylish exposed brick Vaults, there is a space to suit every event.
A spectacularly breathtaking room. Natural light from the domed glass ceiling illuminates the celebrated paintings, which include The Progress of Human Knowledge, by James Barry. Ideal for larger conferences, dinners and award ceremonies. Capacity: up to 200.
A spacious, elegant room featuring a dramatic Troika chandelier and two original Adam fireplaces. The large window floods the room with daylight and provides a stunning view of the Strand. Ideal for receptions, dinners, meeting catering space and wedding ceremonies. Capacity: up to 150.
Originally river-front warehouses, the Vaults offer a striking contrast to the rooms above, with their exposed 18th-century brickwork. The interconnecting spaces when used together create an impressive backdrop for parties, weddings, product launches, press days, photoshoots and exhibitions. Capacity: up to 220.
This theatre was built on the last remaining stretch of 18th century cobbled roadway, which was part of a tunnel beneath RSA House leading down to the Thames. Ideal for screenings, conferences, launches and private cinema experiences. Capacity: up to 70.
A wonderful bright, airy and modernly decorated room with a polished wooden floor and plain Adam ceiling. The Tavern Room is well-suited for receptions, smaller conferences and meetings, and private dining. Capacity: up to 70.
The Adam ceiling with painted roundels offers a stunning focus to the room which can be connected to the Queen Elizabeth II Room for larger events. Featuring three large screens, the space is perfect for smaller conferences and meetings and makes for an intimate private dining setting. Capacity: up to 60.
An elegant room with a magnificent original Adam ceiling and huge windows which allow in abundant daylight. Often used as the catering space to the adjoining Prince Philip Room, this space can also be hired for standalone meetings or private dinners. Capacity: up to 40.
A bright and airy boardroom flooded with natural daylight. Featuring a central table, the room is designed for smaller meetings. Capacity: up to 14.
A classically decorated room with a modern feel, the Shipley Room features a beautiful Adam ceiling and a round table. Ideal for smaller meetings. Capacity: up to 12.
This intimate room is the perfect setting for casual meetings and gatherings. It is also ideal for interviews or a green room, VIP space or storage room for larger conferences in the nearby Great Room. Capacity: up to eight.
The Design Studio is an interactive, creative space unique to the existing spaces in RSA House. Influenced by the deep-rooted relationship of the arts and the RSA, the studio has been developed with innovation in mind. Capacity: up to eight.
Being the smallest space, the Tindale Room is suited to small meetings and interviews. The space makes an ideal organiser’s office for groups wanting to hire RSA House in its entirety. Capacity: up to six.
