Launched in November 2024, our luxury cocktail bar, Muse at RSA House, serves sustainable, regenerative British cocktails in our 250-year-old historic Georgian townhouse.

Tucked away within RSA House, behind the vibrant Strand in central London, our bar spotlights British ingredients, sustainable agriculture, local provenance and rewilding projects with a unique collection of wild distillates.

We are open weekdays, Monday to Friday, from 4pm to 11pm. Muse at RSA House has a separate street-level entrance. At 18 Adam Street, you’ll find a gold doorbell on the door. Ring the bell for entry.

Our history distilled

The RSA has helped shape society since the Enlightenment and has been at the forefront of significant social impact since it was founded in 1754.

We draw on our unique blend of history and modernity, offering innovative mixology and refreshing drinks in partnership with Company of Cooks and Idyll Drinks.

With cocktails from celebrated mixologist Marcis Dzelzainis we offer creative yet approachable serves with innovative ingredients.

In line with the RSA’s regenerative charitable mission, our dedicated team of bartenders led by Head Bartender Kevin Price Houghton, focus on traceability and sustainability, breaking down the provenance of each drink, from cocktail ingredients to wines and spirits, alongside a selection of British ciders from The Fine Cider Company.
You can also order beer, wine, spirits and mixers in our inclusive space, versatile in style, décor and character.

Our core cocktails

East of Eden

A refreshing serve with cucumber distillate, Sipello, apple juice and rhubarb soda.

A cocktail glass with an amber liquid, garnished with a cucumber slice, is placed on a reflective surface. The lighting creates a warm ambiance, and a sign with the word "MUSE" is visible to the side.

The Blackadder

Vault Aperitivo Bitter, Hepple Sloe & Hawthorn Gin, sour cherry, lemon and almond with a couple of dashes of Devil’s Botany Absinthe.

A cocktail glass filled with a dark red drink topped with ice, garnished with a lemon slice and a cherry on a skewer. It is set on a black and white checkered surface.

My Bloody Clementine

A whisky serve with chamomile, ginger, honey and yuzu.

A pink cocktail with ice cubes and a dried orange slice garnish sits on a dark marbled table. A green coaster with the letters "NS" is partially visible under the glass. A metallic cone-shaped object is in the background.

Truffle Martini

A spin on the vodka classic, with truffle distillate.
