‘Hauntology’ describes how the present is haunted by the ghosts of the past – or by the failure of ‘lost’ futures. In art and music, the word also describes an aesthetic characterised by the sampling of analogue vintage media, such as old radio broadcasts

Helena Traill, FRSA is an artist, designer and founder of nooh Studio – a co-design agency working with charities, healthcare organisations and changemakers. Helena’s work explores the space between memory and perception, through multi-impressionist landscapes.
