Become a Fellow

Fellowship brings you into a global community of 30,000 Fellows across every field and discipline, with access to events, talks and conversations that sit at the edge of what’s possible. It gives you a platform to contribute your ideas and energy to the challenges that matter most, as well as the FRSA designation: a signal that places you among the most ambitious thinkers, makers and doers of our time. But more than any of that, it offers something harder to quantify and more valuable than most memberships: genuine belonging.

The application takes around 15 minutes and has three parts: your personal details, a few short questions about your interests and values, and payment. Applications are made online and reviewed by the Royal Society of Arts team.

Most applications receive a decision within a few days. The Royal Society of Arts welcomes applications on a rolling basis; there is no single annual window.

As a charity, we rely on our Fellows to help make our work possible. Becoming a Fellow is more than the right to use FRSA after your name. It’s an investment in a community of people committed to leaving the world better than they found it.

Annual Fellowship is £219 (or £18.25 a month), plus a one-off registration fee of £75.

If you are 18 to 25, our Young Fellows rate is £59 a year and will apply automatically at the payment stage.
