Maxwell Community Centre & Garden

In coalition with Toadstool Trails

Location: Dundee

The Toadstool Trail at Maxwell Garden is a community-designed nature trail in Dundee, Scotland, created in collaboration with WhimSicAL LusH and the local community. It is a playful and sensory trail with a ‘treasure hunt’ and activities, designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all ages.

University of Hull School of Education


Location: Hull

The University of Hull’s School of Education aims to enhance participation in green spaces for children, families, and early childhood providers and trainers. This will be done by utilising dedicated green spaces to facilitate nature connection through children’s cultural expression and storytelling.

Cody Dock Community Hub & Gardens

Location: Newham

Cody Dock is a community hub and garden space on the River Lea in Canning Town, East London. Once a derelict Victorian dock, it has been revitalised into a vibrant centre for the arts, environment, and community engagement.

Redbridge Council


Location: Redbridge

Redbridge Council is the local authority for the London Borough of Redbridge, providing a wide range of services to residents. Fairlop Waters is the site of their Playful Green Planet, which is going under a major regeneration programme.

Electric Daisy

Location: Derby

Electric Daisy are an ‘urban oasis, garden & events space growing in the heart of Derby’. After transforming a disused car park in the centre of Derby into a thriving community garden, Jamie Quince Starkey and his team now run everything from children’s nature events to DJ nights.

The Royal Parks

Location: London

The Royal Parks provide opportunities for children to play outdoors and to learn about and connect with nature through their Play in the Park project, learning centres, Discovery Days and outreach work with schools and local communities.
