Grants and support for social innovations from our Fellowship

The Catalyst Awards programme offers £2,000 seed and £10,000 scaling grants for RSA Fellows.

We award £100,000 annually, supporting  Fellows to test needed innovations and scale the social impact of Fellow projects.

To be eligible, you must be an RSA Fellow. Find out more about RSA Fellowship.


  • 4 March 2021 – Catalyst Awards open to applications 

  • April 2021 – Catalyst Awards close to applications at 23:59 pm GMT

  • April & May – Shortlisting and decision panels
  • 4 June – Decisions are announced to applicants

In the event that we receive a significant increase in the number of applications, we will notify all applicants by email of any changes to the timeline.

Catalyst Awards are now closed for applications.

Please note that due to UK bank holidays on Friday 2 April and Monday 5 April 2021, applicants with any questions or submission issues can expect a delay in hearing back from the Catalyst Team.
