Meet our community leaders
Joel Brown (Ontario, Canada)
Dr. Joel Brown is a family physician and clinical leader based in rural Ontario, Canada. Born in Jamaica and medically trained in the UK, he brings a perspective to primary care, health equity, and system improvement. He serves as Lead Physician with the Bluewater Area Family Health Team and works at the intersection of digital health, quality improvement, and workforce sustainability. As an FRSA, he is passionate about arts and creativity as tools for wellbeing and social change. In Canada, his RSA focus is convening members to advance equitable rural health, creative health initiatives, and responsible use of technology.
John Lorenzo Manuel (Manitoba, Canada)
John Lorenzo Manuel is a Manitoba based leader advancing Zero Hunger initiatives across civic and non-profit sectors. He works at the intersection of ethical leadership, community development, and cross-sector collaboration, with additional focus on Climate Action, Gender Equality, and Partnerships for the Goals. John translates global ideas into locally grounded initiatives with measurable, sustainable impact.
Veronika Roux-Vlachova (Québec, Canada)
Based in Montreal, Veronika Roux-Vlachova is an accomplished arts and finance professional whose career seamlessly bridges modern and contemporary art with global finance. Informed by international experience across Montreal, Paris, Prague, and Wall Street, she brings refined expertise and enduring passion for the arts. She is an accredited art appraiser with the International Society of Appraisers and through the development of a proprietary art collection management platform, manages private and corporate collections. Renowned for connecting diverse communities, she fosters meaningful dialogue and collaboration between artistic circles across the Americas and Europe.
