The purpose of the Space Network is to engage a wide variety of domain experts, creators and entrepreneurs to explore how economic application of Space infrastructure and exploration can contribute to regeneration and economic prosperity on Earth and beyond.

We have three main themes for this network:

  • Space for Regeneration – use of space assets (satellites, stations) and space-derived technologies to boost the regeneration on Earth by enabling Earth monitoring, communications, resource efficiency.
  • Space for Prosperity – use of space activities to expand access to clean energy, economic opportunities and capabilities that reduce harmful activities exploitation of resources on Earth
  • Space for Health – use of knowledge and space infrastructure to improve human health on Earth and beyond – e.g. new medicine researched, developed and/or produced in space, cancer treatments, eHealth etc.

Because of the wide scope of Space applications beyond exploration, all RSA Fellows can contribute, exchange knowledge and engage to enable a sustainable use of Space assets and technologies, including for instance, ensuring food and resources security via monitoring and energy beaming from orbit, equitable access to location intelligence and telecommunications, clean orbit and debris cleaning.

Anyone with an interest in the sustainable and regenerative use of Space assets, research and exploration is very welcome to join this space – you don’t have to be an expert!

Join Fellowship Networks

The RSA’s Fellow-led thematic and local networks explore, devise, test or spearhead ideas which have the potential to become a powerful source of social change.
