Vikki Heywood, RSA Chair and John Bird, founder and editor-in-chief of The Big Issue will be joining us to speak at our first regional conference in the East of England.
Join us on Saturday 29th June at 10am at The Centre for Mathematical Studies, Wilberforce Road, Cambridge, CB3 0WA
This is rich opportunity to immerse yourself in activities, hear about activity in the region and debate (based on the day’s theme - Unleashing potential: Building a better society) where your interests will make most impact.
The conference will include a marketplace of local projects and initiatives, along with participatory workshops tackling:
- Urban issues
- Community initiatives
It’s also a chance to network with other Fellows in the modernist Centre for Mathematical Sciences. You’ll get to explore its exceptional architecture, as well as the option of rounding off the afternoon with an organised walk into the city centre.
The conference is free with a £20 charge for food and refreshments throughout the day. There is a reduced rate of £5 for students.
We welcome all Fellows of the RSA, guests and interested others to join us at this event.
Reserve your place now and let us know (when booking) which of the four themes interests you most.
