Proetus Creation Space, Basingstoke

Proetus is an arts venue and inclusive family-friendly community hub, managed by Chief Executive Mary Swan FRSA. From September, their café will be reserved on a monthly basis for RSA Fellows. Use the space for working remotely, have lunch or network with other local Fellows in a creative space.

The venue often hosts performance arts shows open to the public, so stick around into the evening and check out their events programme too. See what's on here.

Starting in January 2023, the TMS Cafe and facilities are available to RSA Fellows on Wednesday afternoons throughout the year. Fellows can access TMS public lectures, and hire TMS technical facilities or small lecture rooms at a discounted rate (subject to availability). Exhibitions are free as are some lectures, requesting a voluntary contribution only.

Additional Hub information:

All of our Hubs are offered free of charge and open to Fellows and friends. There's no need to pre-book your attendance, or show your Fellowship card to use these spaces - just show up on the designated days, and let them know you are a Fellow or a friend of the RSA on arrival. If you want to organise activities there for your local Fellowship community, get in touch. For any general queries, reach out to the venue’s main contact (above).

Help us create a Fellowship Hub in your town or city

Cafés, community centres, co-working hubs – we are seeking to partner with any Fellow-led establishment across the South East that could offer a base for local Fellows to connect and collaborate on a semi-regular basis. We are especially keen to develop Hubs in Oxfordshire and on the Isle of Wight. Email us at  networks@rsa.org.uk.
