Dame Alison Carnwath
Dame Alison has extensive experience in the financial services, banking and investment sectors, advising UK and US corporate organisations.
Her previous experience includes HSBC, Jupiter Asset Management, and roles in fund management, wholesale banking, equity stockbroking, commercial banking, and insurance broking.
In current and previous non-executive roles – including Director of Welsh Water, board member and former Chair of the Audit Committee and former Senior Independent Director of the Man Group plc, Director of the British Library Trust and Non-Executive Director of the Audit Committee and Chairman’s Committees on BP – Alison has brought financial, investment, risk and audit based experience to all committees and boards.
