Join us for a special global moment of remembrance on 6 August 2025 at midnight BST / 8am JST, marking exactly 80 years since the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.

In honour of this solemn anniversary, John Biddulph FRSA, a musician with over 50 years of experience in electronic and electro-acoustic sound, has composed a powerful new piece of music. This work is dedicated to the Hibakusha – the survivors of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings – and seeks to honour their suffering, resilience, and enduring call for peace.

This one-time streamed event is open to RSA Fellows and the wider public. As the world reflects on the devastating impact of nuclear warfare, we invite you to pause with us, listen, and remember those lost and those who lived on.

Let this shared experience serve as a quiet act of solidarity and a collective commitment to peace.
