John Towers
John Towers is an RSA Trustee.
John Towers has led successful schools in the state, independent, and international charity sectors. His career has included serving as head of one of the ‘most improved’ schools in the country. John has also worked at scale, as a school improvement adviser in London and subsequently as Director of Education for Reach to Teach, establishing over 100 charitable schools in rural India. John has a wide experience of senior non-executive posts across school, exam board, and charity settings. He was previously the Chair of the Royal Society of the Arts Academies.
John is a member of the RSA’s Nominations and Governance Panel.
