We are open, optimistic, pioneering, rigorous, and enabling.
We envisage a world where everyone is able to participate in creating a better future. To achieve this, we ask everyone – our staff, our Fellowship, our collaborators, our partners, and wider society – to commit to our values and world view, and strive to achieve genuine positive impact in our lives. This isn’t something we can achieve overnight. But we are asking you to join us all on this journey.
The commitment you make now, is a commitment to be with us, to shape us, to challenge us, and to stimulate us all, to find better ways of thinking, acting, and delivering change.
Our five values underpin everything we say and do, how we work with people, behave towards them and communicate. Here is a brief description of what each one means to us.
Diversity and Inclusion
We celebrate diversity and promote an inclusive workplace where the different life experiences, talents and perspectives of diverse groups and individuals are valued and appreciated.
We recognise that none of us at the RSA can achieve our ambition of creating a better world in which everyone is able to participate when Black and minority ethnic communities continue to be held back and harmed by systemic racism.
Our Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Employee Network Group facilitates conversations around inclusion and equality within the organisation and works with the senior management team and Trustee board to engage with issues of diversity and equity across the charity.
