What to expect from the Edinburgh Fellows Festival event

Join us in person at the Fellows Festival 2025 Edinburgh event on 17 May from 14:00 to 17:00 for an inspiring afternoon of discussion, creativity, and connection.

Come along for a thought-provoking afternoon featuring Professor Linda Bauld, the Bruce and John Usher Chair of Public Health in The Usher Institute at the University of Edinburgh and Chief Social Policy Advisor. Get valuable insights from her expertise in public health and social policy and leave inspired.

We’re also delighted to welcome Sue Palmer, renowned author of Toxic Childhood as she explores the profound impact of love and play on childhood development. Find out how these factors in early life can lay the foundation for lifelong social and emotional wellbeing.

Discover our Playful Green Planet initiative transforming unused green spaces into outdoor play and learning areas. Playful Green Planet is designed to empower children with the skills for climate action and social change by fostering a deep connection to nature and community through outdoor creative play. Joining Playful Green Planet will be some of our Dundee-based stewards who are empowering communities through storytelling, art, youth work, gardening, and environmental education.

Early bird tickets start from £15 and are available until 09:30 on 31 March (regional variations apply). Standard ticket pricing starts on 31 March, so take advantage of this opportunity.
