The music industry is at a turning point, and the future belongs to those ready to rewrite the rules. The Remix brings together industry changemakers, creative business leaders and talent for an evening of bold conversations, cross-generational skill sharing, and groundbreaking ideas for artist-led business models.

This event kicks off with an exclusive invite-only roundtable (5–6 pm), where key music figures and emerging talent will exchange insights and ideas on building sustainable career pathways in music. A dynamic changemaker panel (6–7 pm) follows, tackling the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the industry. The night culminates in a live music and networking session (7–9 pm), showcasing original music and talent, fostering collaborations that will drive the next wave of innovation.

Whether you’re an artist, entrepreneur, or industry leader, The Remix is your space to connect, create, pitch and reimagine the music business—on artists’ terms.

Meet the host:

Lynsey Shaw FRSA has built a dynamic career in music and performance, fronting chart-topping acts, leading global tours, and pioneering innovative entertainment formats. From her early 2000s success with Girls@Play—securing two UK Top 30 singles and navigating the industry as an artist and entrepreneur—to fronting Urban Cookie Collective at major European festivals, she has experienced the music industry from the inside out.

Beyond performance, she has driven talent-led innovation, founding and managing projects that challenge traditional industry models. Having played an active role in the independent label behind her second Girls@Play single, she went on to form and manage Electric Dolls. Championed by Live Nation, the group secured major festival slots and co-created a cable TV series. As LA-based VP at Big Finish Recordings, Lynsey fused music, film, and storytelling to develop crossover projects with global talent, creating a television series that broke audience records on Irish networks.

Passionate about artist-led, community-driven, ethical creative business, she sees the current shifts in live entertainment—the contraction of the old guard, the impact of streaming platforms, the loss of grassroots venues, and the dwindling career pathways for practitioners—as a clarion call and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to redefine the landscape. From leading immersive live shows to producing digital-first experiences, Lynsey continuously pushes the boundaries of how artists engage with audiences. She firmly believes that innovation must, and will, come from those who have forged their expertise in the crucible of the industry—those who have truly walked the walk—working alongside others who share the vision to reshape the future of music.
