The Art of Social Change: a collaborative seminar with Urban Leaders Fellowship
Join advocates, systems thinkers, and civic innovators, across the US and Canada, for a hands-on seminar focused on real-time problem solving, connection, and collaborative impact.
On June 26th, we’re bringing together two dynamic networks – the US and Canadian RSA Fellowship communities and the Urban Leaders Fellowship (ULF) – to tackle real-world policy challenges and explore how social change takes root through relationships, systems, and shared leadership.
About Urban Leaders Fellowship (ULF):
ULF places emerging leaders in local government and nonprofit roles across 10 US cities to co-develop equity-centered policies. In 2024, Fellows helped advance 21 initiatives with elected and appointed officials, spanning affordable housing, education, public safety, and more.
Why your voice matters:
This session invites RSA Fellows with experience in policy, systems change, advocacy, or community leadership to:
- Hear directly from ULF Fellows on the challenges they’re addressing now
- Step into a mentoring role and support future leaders by sharing your insights and feedback in real time
- Build meaningful connections that strengthen the broader ecosystem for change
Expect dialogue, peer exchange, and participatory collaboration – all rooted in the belief that change happens when people show up, stay curious, and build together.
We hope you’ll join us.
Taking part in RSA US online events
At RSA US, we host interactive online events designed to foster connection, dialogue, and community among Fellows. We use Zoom for these gatherings, and you’ll receive joining details by email after registering. Some events may be recorded, and by attending, you acknowledge that your name or image may appear in public recordings. If there are any accommodations we can provide to support you in participating fully, please reach out to the RSA US team at general.us@thersa.org and we will be happy to support in whatever ways we can.
Our online events, especially our monthly Virtual Salons, typically held on the third Thursday of the month, have been developed as a space to have meaningful, inclusive dialogue across geography and perspective, and are often supported by volunteer moderators. We invite all Fellows to join us in showing up at our events with care and curiosity, and encourage all participants to review our Rules of Engagement so that we can best support one another in these spaces. We also warmly welcome Fellows who are interested in co-creating an event with us to reach out via email at general.us@thersa.org.
