Advancing Equity Through Connection, Care, and Collective Vision
After a bit of a hiatus, the Gender Equity Network invites you to a relaunch gathering to meet our new Network Leads, connect with other members, and reimagine the future of our work together.
This interactive session will include:
- A welcome and introduction from Dr. Watts and Dr. Aviva, including their vision and aspirations for the Network
- An overview of upcoming Network programming, including events focused on self-care for women and community-building across difference
- Time to connect with other RSA Fellows and Network members, strengthening our relationships and shared purpose
- A collaborative dialogue inviting participants to share ideas, needs, and visions for the future of the Gender Equity Network
The gathering will be facilitated by our new Network Leads:
Dr. Rassheedah Watts, FRSA is a diversity strategist, educator, producer of the Diversity Minute televised series, and author, and activator who helps organizations and individuals build capacity for stronger connected communities.
Dr. Jessica Aviva, FRSA is an author, teacher, researcher, and community leader who helps community organizations and feminist leaders center joy, love, intuitive wisdom, and creativity as they create the flourishing world they dream is possible through sustainable strategies and actions.
Together, they bring a wealth of experience and deep commitment to cultivating spaces where equity, care, and collaboration thrive.
This event is open to anyone interested in advancing gender equity, regardless of identity, experience, or professional background.

Taking part in RSA US online events
At RSA US, we host interactive online events designed to foster connection, dialogue, and community among Fellows. We use Zoom for these gatherings, and you’ll receive joining details by email after registering. Some events may be recorded, and by attending, you acknowledge that your name or image may appear in public recordings. If there are any accommodations we can provide to support you in participating fully, please reach out to the RSA US team at general.us@thersa.org and we will be happy to support in whatever ways we can.
Our online events, especially our monthly Virtual Salons, typically held on the third Thursday of the month, have been developed as a space to have meaningful, inclusive dialogue across geography and perspective, and are often supported by volunteer moderators. We invite all Fellows to join us in showing up at our events with care and curiosity, and encourage all participants to review our Rules of Engagement so that we can best support one another in these spaces. We also warmly welcome Fellows who are interested in co-creating an event with us to reach out via email at general.us@thersa.org.
