ROARing Voices - a movement for change.

The RSA and Roaring Voices launch a major new movement consisting of a unique blend of; environmental advocacy; and artistic expression.

A series of curated events drawing on human voice in all its diversity to both feed your mind and delight your ear. At the heart of each event will be an interactive discussion led by experts on key issues of today; issues that we all know are crying out for change. This inaugural event demonstrates the impact of creative collaboration in mobilising action and fostering a global dialogue on the necessity of caring for our planet.

The theme of our first event is bridging the gap, between musical genres, and between the Global North and Global South.

We have asked our six diverse female jazz, soul and opera singers to cross the divide of their own genres; and will be asking ourselves and our audience to consider the hemispheric divide regarding the impact of the climate crisis. We will hear from our all-female panel of environmental experts their responses to the question: Are we transferring the environmental problem to the Global South?

What you'll get:

  • arrival drink and canapes.
  • 11 peformances including; duets between opera and soul and opera and jazz, plus ensemble songs.
  • interactive international panel with our speakers.
  • opportunities to network and engage with the audience and artists.
