RSA Ideas is designed to help develop ideas or early stage projects by tapping into the knowledge, skills, and connections of others.
Do you have ideas or skills that could help turn a great idea or project into reality? Have you got an idea that you want to share with others? Are you interested in finding out more about what Fellows are doing and making new connections?
If this sounds like you then come along to RSA Ideas and...
- Pitch your project or idea to a group to get feedback and support
- Share your ideas/skills to help others develop their ideas or project
- Connect with other Fellows and social entrepreneurs
Five different projects will be pitched at this event. We need your thoughts, suggestions, and connections to help shape and develop them. Join us to play your part in turning great ideas into a reality.
If you are interested in pitching an idea, please email [email protected].
There will be networking and refreshments from 7pm and ideas will start bouncing from 7.30pm. This RSA Ideas will be hosted by Malcolm Noble FRSA.
This event is free but please book your place above so we know you’ll be joining us. We welcome non-Fellows who support the work of the RSA and those who are interested in finding out more about Fellowship.
Please note that this is a dynamic event structure and some parts are standing networking. If you have any access requirements, severe nut allergies, or require any reasonable adjustments, please contact the RSA team at [email protected].
We’re delighted to be holding this event as part of the Chelmsford Ideas Festival.
Location: The Transition, The Anne Knight Buildings, Fenton Court, City Park West, Chelmsford CM1 1LW

I am a Fellow from 2009, mainly working in education and supporting young people to help build strong and safe communities (I was PA to Baroness Newlove, UK's Communities Champion). I try to connect like minded people to find solutions to problems that threaten community cohesion - lack of affordable housing, yawning skills gap in construction and ageing workers in the trade, and threat to the world through carbon emissions. My pitch will be for building zero energy bills homes, so well designed they banish fuel bills forever, but also can run an electric car, and open up apprenticeships and employment for our local students! Please read www.communitybuildgroup.co.uk/ and come and hear me and 4 other really worthy ideas. Rani (King) Moorcroft MBE
