Join the Inequality in Education Network as we host Martin Doel, FETL Professor of Leadership in FE and Skills at the IoE, for an exploration into a National Education Service.

In the first of a series of meetings entitled "A National Education Service: Hopes & Fears", we'll be exploring the possibilities, constraints, and consequences of a move towards what the Guardian has called an "NHS for Education" here in the UK.

About the Speaker: After eight years at the helm of the Association of Colleges, Martin Doel left in 2016 to take up the world’s first university chair in FE leadership at the London Institute of Education. Few people are as well qualified to assess the possibilities and prospects for a National Education Service—do consider attending if you are interested.

If you’d be interested in working with others to organise activity for the Network, let us know by emailing networks@rsa.org.uk or by contacting Network Lead John Bayley via MyRSA.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.

Location: Room 675, The Institute of Education, 20 Bedford Way, Bloomsbury, London, WC1H 0AL

ABOUT THIS NETWORK
